Our provider FDCservers has moved ems16 to another IP segment. The IP address has changed from 67.159.5.52 to 208.53.158.27. The IPv6 address 2001:49f0:100d::16 no longer works and we will probably soon have a new one.
So much for addressing. But why have we done it? Because you guys were complaining (rightfully) that performance wasn't that great on our US servers during peak hours. ems16 now has 100 Mbit DEDICATED bandwidth. Please let us know if you notice the difference, we'd like to know if it's worth the money. It should work better now for people connecting through UDP.
Btw. there is another new server in Switzerland, ems24. It's pretty well connected too, give it a try. And we'll likely soon have a server in Hongkong again!
